Glass Services Chicago Homes and Businesses Rely On
Glass Services Chicago Clients Hire Us For
Every piece of glass we install is measured where it will live and made to that size, whether it is a shower door, a gym mirror or a table top.
IMAGO Glass started in 2002 as a shower door company, and that habit of measuring first carried into all the glass services Chicago homes and businesses hire us for today. Your estimate is free and onsite, so you see real options in your own space before you decide. You are never stuck choosing from stock sizes or reworking your room to suit the glass. From our downtown Chicago office, we serve the city and nearby suburbs, including Evanston, Mount Prospect, Norridge, Wood Dale and Oak Park.
Glass Shower Doors
Frameless, framed or sliding, each shower door we make starts with measurements taken in your bathroom, which is how we fit openings no store-bought door will. One homeowner’s master bath install took under two hours.

Custom Mirrors
A mirror sized to the whole wall bounces light around the room and makes a narrow bathroom or hallway feel wider. We cut custom mirrors for homes, plus larger gym and industrial mirrors for fitness spaces, offices and other businesses.

Glass Walls
A wall is a long-term decision, and glass lets you divide a space without giving up the daylight you already have. We build glass walls and partitions for offices, conference rooms and homes, including fully enclosed rooms like the glass wine room in our gallery.
Glass Table Tops
Thickness decides whether a glass table top lasts: we generally suggest 1/4 inch for a standard top or protective cover and 3/8 inch for heavier tops without full support. Each top is cut to your table’s exact shape, with the edge style you choose, indoors or out.
Glass Shelves
Shelves bought in standard sizes rarely sit flush in a real alcove or cabinet, which is why we visit, measure and collect the details before your order is made. Tempered glass shelves are sturdy, easy to wipe clean and far less bulky than wood.

Shower Doors: Custom Builds, Installation and Repair
Shower doors are the oldest of our glass services. Chicago clients have ordered them from us since 2002. If your opening is an odd size, our custom shower doors are made for it. If you already know the style you want, shower door installation covers measuring, fitting and hanging the glass. If an existing door leaks, sticks or has worn hardware, shower door repair may save it.
Glass choices include clear, frosted, tinted, rain and coated glass such as Guardian ShowerGuard, which has a coating fused to the surface to protect it from hard water and soap residue. For the frameless look, see our frameless glass shower doors page, and for an overview of every style, our homepage covers glass shower doors in Chicago.
Mirrors for Homes, Gyms and Commercial Spaces
Our custom mirrors are cut to the wall they will hang on, framed or frameless, for bathrooms and hallways. Home gyms and fitness studios order gym mirrors sized to the workout space. Offices, bars, gyms and other businesses use our industrial mirrors, which our technicians measure, design and install on site. Alongside shower doors, mirrors are among the glass services Chicago homeowners and businesses order from us.
Choosing the Right Glass for the Job
Part of every estimate is choosing the right glass, and the best choice depends on the job. Tempered safety glass is the standard for shower doors because it is far stronger than ordinary glass and breaks into small, pebble-like pieces. Laminated glass makes the strongest shelves. Starphire glass is made crystal clear instead of carrying a tint, which suits bathrooms with colored tile. Frosted, rain and tinted glass add privacy to showers and partitions.
You do not need to know any of this before your visit. Comparing samples in your own light is one of the most useful parts of the glass services Chicago clients get from us, and it is how you avoid surprises once the glass is installed.
Residential and Commercial Glass Work
We take on both residential and commercial projects. At home, that can mean shower doors, bathroom mirrors, shelves and table tops. For businesses, it means glass walls and partitions for offices and conference rooms, gym mirrors for fitness studios and industrial mirrors for commercial spaces. Because one team measures and installs everything, you deal with a single company for all the glass services Chicago properties like yours may need, from one shelf to a full glass wall.
Glass Walls, Shelves and Table Tops
Glass walls and partitions open up offices, conference rooms and homes while still separating the space. For storage, custom glass shelves in tempered or laminated glass fit bathrooms, kitchens and living rooms. When a table needs protection or a new surface, our glass table tops come in the thickness and edge style your furniture calls for.
